Potential Impacts

Potential longer term impacts of the project include;

• Contributing to the provision of agreed protocols and tools for the mark up and representation of qualitative data records for reuse.
• Development of innovative techniques for the representation and dissemination of qualitative research via web-services.
• Enhancing the capacity of qualitative researchers to design, undertake and document projects that can be effectively and ethically archived for sharing and secondary analysis.
• Contribute to UK social research capacity building through active collaboration between key stakeholders, and through the generation of a knowledge and skills base on the exploitation of digital technologies and multimedia for qualitative research practice.
